We are a faith family focused on spiritual transformation.
We have a variety of classes and groups available to help you grow spiritually and as a member of our community.
We love to learn! We host regular books studies and would love for you to join in on the conversation.
We are currently doing a study of The Power Worshippers by Katherine Stewart. Join us June 12, July 10, and August 7 following worship.
Books we have studied include Good Enough by Kate Bowler and Jessica Richie and See No Stranger by Valarie Kaur.
Healthy Congregations focus on their strengths and mission. “Reach up, reach in, reach out” captures our essence at St. John’s.
The Healthy Congregations group meets on the third Wednesday of every month, in person or via Zoom, to discuss how we can be a stronger, more welcoming, and more loving church family. We can't wait to see you there!
Join our Holy Spokes bicycle club every second Sunday at 1 pm (when weather permits)! Holy Spokes is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your relationships with our church family while also strengthening your body.
Holy Spokes is beginner friendly: feel free to ride at your own pace, and let us know if you need a water break. Our route goes through low-traffic areas like side streets and bike trails, so you can ride without worry.
Please bring your own bicycle and helmet!
Computers are everywhere, even in your pocket, but as computers become more powerful, users become more baffled! We are happy to provide beginner-friendly tech classes to help you figure out how to use your devices, navigate the internet, and stay safe from hackers and scams. Classes are taught by our very own resident tech expert, Evelyn, who is CompTIA and Google certified to bang on keyboards.
Classes are offered throughout the year, in person and via Zoom, at different times to make them available to people with different scheduling requirements.
